Baked Fish with Seasonings
Your normal baked fish but add a little bit of *spice*. Quick and easy fish recipe with ingredients in your cupboard, that once you learn it, you won't be able to start making it.
2-3 Bs whole fish (cod, halibut, salmon, or your choice)
1 Head garlic
1/3 Tsp white pepper
1/3 Tsp salt
3 Tbsp flour
1 Cup lemon juice
5 Tbsp olive oil
1 Cup chopped cilantro or 1/3 cup coriander
Rinse the fish thoroughly inside and out; make slits in the fish from both sides; rub it with salt and pepper inside and out, then rub with flour on the inside and outside.
Cover and place in refrigerator for 2 hours.
Smash the garlic with the salt, add chopped cilantro (or coriander). Mix the lemon juice and oil separately.
Stuff the fish with about 1/2 of cilantro mixture, then sprinkle some of the lemon juice and oil over all on the inside of the fish.
Wrap in aluminum foil and place it in a 400° - 450° oven for 2 hours or until it separates easily with the touch of fork.
We suggest you serve this with Tahini sauce and brown rice!
