Legacy and Friendship

Two sons of Lebanon, Sami and Rob, crossed paths in Los Angeles. What started as a friendship quickly grew into a shared mission.

What began with a simple taste of family za’atar quickly grew into a mission, to bring Lebanon’s pantry to the world. Together, they wove their agricultural and artisanal roots into ZEED.

Today, every product carries their families’ heritage and their vision for the future.

Our Harvest

Lebanon’s rich microclimates and terraced lands have nurtured centuries of farming tradition. ZEED carries forward this heritage with products crafted by local farmers and artisans.

Anfeh - Sea Salt

Our all-natural, unrefined Phoenician Sea Salt comes from Anfeh and is harvested through an ancient method of salt-bed sun drying along the Mediteranean shore.

Baasir- Bold Olive Oil

Our BOLD Extra Virgin Olive Oil, made from Souri olives in Baasir, delivers a peppery, aromatic finish and is rich in polyphenols, from trees our family has tended for generations.

Zebqine - Wild Za'atar

The South of Lebanon is famed for its wild za’atar. Since 1980s, farmers have cultivated it in nurseries, making it Lebanon’s prized crops. We source ours sustainably from Zeboine farms.

Zgharta - Bright Olive Oil

The "Ayrouni" cultivar boasts a fruity aroma and buttery texture. Harvested from a small family orchard in Zgharta, these olives are pressed to make our BRIGHT Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

Ain Zhalta - Sumac

Our hand-selected, zesty sumac comes from the Chouf district of Mount Lebanon, where the terrain and climate create a rich, distinctive flavor, the perfect addition to our za’atar mix.

Sohmor – Bekaa Valley Za’atar

Sohmor, a fertile region in the Bekaa Valley, is where we grow our za’atar. We carefully select the finest leaves, ensuring an exceptional taste in every blend.
